About the job
Director of Product Marketing
In Summary
As the pivotal leader of Product Marketing at Fyxer, you will shape our brand's perception among customers and within the market. This role involves harmonizing our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) strategy across various segments, Prosumer, Commercial, and Enterprise, while overseeing brand positioning, product launch communications, category definition, and strategic pricing initiatives. You will serve as the bridge connecting Marketing, Product, and Sales, crucial for scaling our efforts effectively and confidently.
The Opportunity
We are embarking on an exciting new phase. Previously, our marketing team approached brand and product marketing separately based on audience segments, Prosumer and B2B, leading to fragmentation in our messaging and efforts. This role is essential to unify our ICP strategy, positioning framework, and product communications, establishing a cohesive understanding of Fyxer AI across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
ICP Development & Customer Insights
You will be the expert on our customers' needs across all segments, including:
Lead the creation and ongoing refinement of our core ICPs (Mike, Phil, and Enterprise buyer) along with sub-archetypes to enhance audience reach.
Conduct and analyze primary research, surveys, user interviews, traction data, to generate clear, actionable insights that inform marketing strategies.
Develop Jobs to be Done (JTBD) frameworks for each ICP, translating insights into messaging, creative concepts, and product focus areas.
Ensure ICP insights are consistently communicated throughout the organization, monthly presentations, full-funnel marketing activation, and maintaining a central repository of information.
Brand & Product Positioning
You will oversee Fyxer's positioning in the market and in the minds of our ICPs, ensuring:
Development and stewardship of a cohesive brand positioning strategy that resonates with both Prosumer and B2B audiences, while allowing for necessary flexibility.
Ownership of messaging architecture for each ICP, including headlines, value propositions, belief statements, and objection handling.
