Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering/Science, Computer Applications, or related fields. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Fluency in French and excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills. Residency in a Central African country and/or willingness to travel across Africa. Flexibility to work extra hours when needed. Experience with database engines (Oracle, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with operating systems (Linux and MS Windows). Knowledge of cloud infrastructure orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, HashiCorp Nomad). Working experience with application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere). Understanding of DevOps techniques (CI/CD, Helm, Ansible). Knowledge of Directory Services (AD & LDAP). Strong personal skills with a customer-oriented mindset. Detail-oriented and a team player. Integrity and ethical work practices. Proactive and self-managed with strong time management skills. Results-oriented approach.

We are seeking candidates who are fluent in French and possess strong command of English, residing in a Central African country or open to travel across Africa. As a Support & Implementation Engineer, you will act as a vital technical liaison, handling enterprise solution implementations and providing support services for various incidents and issues. This position necessitates close collaboration with multiple technical support and engineering teams across different levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and install solutions on clients' infrastructure platforms.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot customer-reported issues both onsite and remotely across different implementation layers.
  • Respond promptly and positively to customer requests and tickets.
  • Prepare and verify the accuracy of technical documentation.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for software issues covered in training.
  • Utilize help desk software to maintain accurate records of incoming calls, opened incidents, and requests.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance visits.
  • Perform other job-related duties as necessary.
