QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering/Science, Computer Applications, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and presentation). Proficiency in Russian (speaking, writing, and presentation). Must be based in one of the Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, or Turkmenistan). Willingness to travel and work additional hours as needed. Experience with database engines (Oracle, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with operating systems (Linux and MS Windows). Knowledge of cloud infrastructure orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, HashiCorp Nomad). Experience with application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere). Understanding and skills in DevOps techniques including CI/CD, Helm, and Ansible. Familiarity with directory services (AD & LDAP). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Customer-oriented mindset. Excellent interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and a collaborative team player. Self-motivated and proactive. Strong time management skills and result-driven.

Join our dynamic team at Progressoft as a Support & Implementation Engineer! We are seeking passionate individuals who excel in providing exceptional IT technical support both onsite and remotely. In this role, you will be pivotal in implementing enterprise solutions and addressing incidents or issues that arise. You'll collaborate closely with various technical support and engineering teams to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and configure solutions across customer infrastructure platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose customer-reported issues both onsite and remotely across various implementation layers.
  • Respond promptly and positively to customer requests and support tickets.
  • Draft, review, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
  • Conduct Preventive and Corrective Maintenance visits.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as necessary.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in large enterprise environments focusing on payment and remittance solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization technologies, storage, and network infrastructure.
  • Experience in implementing High Availability & Disaster Recovery strategies.
  • Knowledge of PKI infrastructure and certificate authorities.
  • Familiarity with database engines (MySQL and NoSQL databases).
  • Experience with various server and client operating systems (Linux distributions, MS Windows).
  • Understanding of object storage management.
  • Knowledge of security authentication and authorization solutions.
