About the job

Progressoft is seeking skilled Support & Implementation Engineers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a vital technical liaison, providing expert onsite and remote IT support for our enterprise solutions. You will be responsible for implementing solutions and addressing incidents or issues, collaborating closely with various technical support and engineering teams across multiple levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and install solutions within the customer's infrastructure environments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot customer-reported issues across various implementation layers, both onsite and remotely.
  • Respond promptly and positively to customer requests and tickets.
  • Create, review, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance visits.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours when necessary.
  • Proficiency in database engines such as Oracle, MS-SQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with operating systems including Linux and MS Windows.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, HashiCorp Nomad).
  • Hands-on experience with application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD, Helm, and Ansible.
  • Knowledge of Directory Services (Active Directory & LDAP).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented and a collaborative team player.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and effective in time management.
  • Results-driven with the ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in large enterprise settings focused on payments and remittance solutions.
  • Background in cloud computing, virtualization technologies, storage, and network infrastructure.
  • Hands-on implementation of high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Knowledge of PKI infrastructure and certificate authorities.
  • Familiarity with MySQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of server and client operating systems (various Linux distros and MS Windows).
  • Knowledge of object storage management.
  • Experience with security authentication and authorization solutions (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, Keycloak).
  • Familiarity with cloud solution infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OCI, IBM).
