Essential Job Duties:Preference for multiple modality certification (DEXA / CT)Perform imaging in accordance with Atria's safety protocols, policies, and proceduresUtilize appropriate patient positioning tools, equipment adjustments, and ergonomic scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safetyEnsure patient safety during imaging procedures and communicate effectively based on the patient's comprehensionRefer specific diagnostic, treatment, or prognosis inquiries to the appropriate physician or healthcare professional unless authorized by clinical managementAssist the team by performing other imaging modalities (MRI Focus, and CT) when necessaryRequirements:Vocational or Technical School Diploma requiredValid New York State License requiredCurrent ARRT registration requiredMinimum of 2 years’ experience as a Radiation Technologist specializing in DEXA MammographyExperience with additional modalities is a plusCompassionate communicator with strong tact and diplomacyDedicated to excellence, high standards, and teamwork
