About the job
TransPerfect is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Salesforce Product Manager to take charge of our CRM operating model in a dynamic and complex global environment. This pivotal role involves establishing structure, clarity, and control throughout the processes of intake, prioritization, and execution. We seek an individual capable of independently managing the model without the need for external guidance.
Unlike traditional coordination positions, this role emphasizes ownership. The ideal candidate will possess robust product ownership skills combined with a deep, practical knowledge of the Salesforce platform, empowering them to make informed decisions in technically intricate situations, question ambiguous requirements, and proactively advance delivery.
Core Responsibilities:
Roadmap and Strategy
• Define and sustain a transparent Salesforce roadmap that aligns with business priorities and platform development.
• Transform strategic needs into organized initiatives rather than disorganized requests.
• Strategically plan and structure the integration of new business units or acquisitions into the Salesforce ecosystem, detailing the approach for merging new teams, data, and processes with existing systems.
Backlog and Intake Management
• Own and proactively manage the CRM backlog from start to finish.
• Implement structured intake processes, ensuring all requests are thoroughly scoped and documented prior to entering the backlog.
• Interpret and critically assess business needs, pushing back on vague requirements or those that create unnecessary complexities or conflict with platform best practices.
Prioritization and Stakeholder Management
• Lead the prioritization efforts across a multifaceted global stakeholder landscape with competing demands.
• Apply consistent prioritization criteria under pressure, balancing business value, technical risk, and platform integrity.
• Clearly communicate priorities and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Execution and Governance
• Ensure execution clarity by defining stories, setting acceptance criteria, and providing delivery teams with the resources they need for successful implementation.
• Uphold governance standards across all CRM change processes.
