Required Qualifications:In-depth knowledge and experience in a Microsoft environment, specifically supporting Windows 10, Windows Server 2012+, and Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Office 365, and Azure (OneDrive, DLP, SharePoint). Proficient in Active Directory, Group Policy, remote access solutions, and software deployment. Strong background in installing, troubleshooting, and managing desktop hardware. Unwavering commitment to customer service excellence. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, following up proactively on unresolved issues. Capacity to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities while maintaining a positive attitude during interruptions. Excellent analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Proven collaborative skills and the ability to function effectively within a team environment. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. Self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting. A demonstrated interest in learning new and emerging technologies. A self-directed learner with the capability to source information independently.

About the job

Squarepoint Capital is seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Analyst who will play a vital role in supporting a global user base of over 500 individuals within a Windows environment. This position involves both onsite and remote interactions to assist users with various workstation applications including Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Microsoft Office (both on-premise and cloud-based), access control policies via Windows Active Directory, remote access support, and hardware troubleshooting.

  • Deliver 24x5 support to a diverse global user community of 500+ as needed by the business.
  • Participate in weekend on-call support on a rotational schedule.
  • Effectively manage incoming requests and incidents in a timely manner, adhering to established internal runbooks and incident management protocols.
  • Collaborate with Level 2 and Level 3 internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Engage in proactive alert management to resolve failure alerts, degraded services, and service outages using internal monitoring tools.
  • Automate routine tasks to enhance efficiency and boost productivity.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to devise strategic solutions.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as needed.
