Minimum Qualifications:Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education on a year-for-year basis, with one year of full-time experience equating to 30 college credits. Experience:Demonstrated hands-on experience with Workday integrations. Proficient in integration processes and technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer support. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

The University System of Maryland encompasses twelve (12) esteemed institutions of higher education and three (3) regional centers. Six (6) of these institutions have formed the Maryland Connect Workday Consortium, collaborating to maximize the use of the Workday ERP for their Human Resources and Finance operations.

As the Workday Integrations Lead, you will take charge of the Integrations team within the Maryland Connect Workday Consortium, reporting directly to the Workday Technical Manager. Your role will involve overseeing the design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of integrations to and from Workday.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Operations and Customer Support:

  • Lead the design, deployment, and ongoing management of integration processes for all Workday integrations.
  • Assist in resolving Tier 3 & 4 issues from the Service Desk.
  • Support integration development, testing, and validation processes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in coordination with functional teams including finance, payroll, and human resources.

Technology Advancement and Service Planning:

  • Contribute to planning activities for implementation projects to define configuration, data, and system requirements.
  • Act as a consultative partner to IT staff, functional teams, and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery and optimization.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of integration-related system functions and processes.

Leadership:

  • Manage and develop the Workday integrations team, overseeing performance management and daily operations.
  • Provide guidance on integration best practices and establish development guidelines.
  • Engage in design sessions to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Maintain proactive communication with leadership to foster collaboration.
