We are on the lookout for a Sales Development Representative to join our retail team. Reporting to the New Markets Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our prospective clients with our sales team. Our Sales Development Representatives are tasked with driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads for the Lightspeed sales team. Your Responsibilities
Drive new business growth by qualifying potential customers from various marketing sources (webinars, trials, quote requests, or demos), primarily through phone and email.
Manage all leads to ensure they qualify for the internal Lightspeed sales team.
Create an excellent first impression for our potential and existing customers by providing a world-class experience.
Assess customer needs to determine if Lightspeed solutions fit their requirements.
Handle multiple lead sources, including incoming calls, emails, chats, and referrals at all times.
Manage existing customer database using Salesforce to ensure all communications are recorded and tracked.
Collaborate with the New Markets Manager to develop new strategies for expanding the sales network and consistently achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Perform other tasks and responsibilities defined by management.
What You Bring to the Team
Over one year of sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in a solution or technology sales context.
A strong desire to work in technology sales and a solid technical aptitude.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, including a strong phone presence.
