Collaborate effectively with Commercial and Enterprise sales teams, including New Business, Expansion, Customer Success, and Professional Services. Engage with other Smartsheet departments to gather insights and develop account knowledge, relationship maps, and use case opportunities. Schedule qualified meetings with our Sales Executives. Conduct strategic prospecting of key account targets and contacts. Engage in meaningful and engaging conversations via phone and email. Become the go-to expert on Smartsheet's products and services. Independently identify potential companies and contacts suited for our services, utilizing email, LinkedIn, cold calling, and advanced sales tools to reach out. Manage multiple outbound sequence campaigns within our sales engagement platform. Document all activities in Salesforce.com. Monitor social platforms for leads and opportunities while participating in outbound social marketing efforts. Utilize proven sales techniques to optimize prospect interactions. Maintain a high activity level aimed at qualifying leads and developing a robust sales pipeline.

We are on the lookout for a talented Sales Development Representative II who will play a pivotal role in generating sales pipeline and driving revenue to meet our ambitious growth objectives for the fiscal year. You will cultivate a deep understanding of our customer base, identify key prospects, and engage potential clients through various proactive outreach strategies. As a crucial first point of contact for prospects, you will set the tone for their sales journey ahead, honing your skills in prospecting and discovery alongside our Commercial and Enterprise teams.

The perfect remote candidate will reside in the Central to West Coast and will report directly to a Sales Development Manager in the West.
