Role Overview
We're seeking a Director of Product Design to spearhead our product design initiatives. This role is hands-on, you'll lead a small team, produce design work, and uphold our high standards for product quality.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, user-friendly product experiences consistently
Evaluate design outputs and provide insightful feedback
Collaborate with product managers to clarify context, requirements, and research findings
Develop and refine our product design system
Lead and mentor a team of product designers
Actively contribute as a hands-on designer
Work closely with product, engineering, and branding teams
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in product design
Recent hands-on experience in delivering product designs
Strong UX and visual design skills
Experience in managing end-to-end design processes, including design systems
Strategic mindset with a focus on design direction beyond execution
Proficient in connecting design decisions with business objectives
