We are looking for a Director of Product Design to lead our user experience and interface design initiatives. You will recruit and manage a talented team of in-house product designers. This role is crucial in shaping our user experience and driving innovation, providing a rare opportunity to establish design excellence in a high-growth startup and create meaningful experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and advocate for the product design vision, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and user needs.
Oversee the development and refinement of a cohesive, scalable design system, ensuring consistency across products and platforms to enhance reusability and development speed.
Mentor and inspire a team of product designers, nurturing a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continual improvement.
Collaborate with product leadership to design processes that integrate product management, design, and engineering within the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Conduct workshops and design reviews with stakeholders to drive alignment across teams and departments.
Lead the creation of intuitive, visually compelling, and functional designs for web and mobile platforms.
Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility, responsiveness, and scalability standards.
Stay informed on industry trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate new insights into the design process.
Promote user-centered design practices and advocate for the needs of our users.
