Key Responsibilities:Core Operations & ExecutionOversee daily operations of the Toronto site, including janitorial services, life safety, space planning, food and beverage services, event coordination, and various other programs and services. Lead initiatives to address local safety, security, and facilities concerns, providing clear communication of status and updates. Manage vendor relationships, including conducting quarterly business reviews and ensuring compliance with Okta's service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). Strategic & Financial StewardshipAdminister the operational budget for the Toronto office, collaborating with Finance on capital and operational expenditures, accruals, forecasts, and more. Coordinate capital projects in collaboration with the Global Workplace Project Management team. Enhance employee experience offerings and contribute insights to our North American initiatives.

Role overview

The Workplace Site Manager oversees daily operations at Okta’s Toronto office. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for leading the workplace operations team and ensuring services and programs reflect Okta’s culture. The role combines hands-on leadership with operational planning and direct accountability for site performance and budget management. Reporting to the Director of Global Workplace Operations, this position requires regular attendance in the Toronto office from Monday to Friday.

Requirements

  • Experience managing diverse teams in workplace or facilities management
  • Background in facilities and food & beverage program management
  • Hospitality mindset with a focus on employee experience
  • Ability to create and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders

Location and schedule

This role is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is a full-time, on-site position requiring presence in the office Monday through Friday.
