Strong technical fluency — comfortable using tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to navigate code, APIs, and complex data environments. Basic familiarity with AI/ML concepts such as RAG, embeddings, and LLMs.

The Solutions Engineer at Rowspace works at the intersection of technology and business strategy for financial services clients. This position combines technical problem-solving with direct client engagement, helping firms connect their investment workflows to the Rowspace platform. Expect to use real client data to demonstrate how Rowspace can improve and streamline complex processes.

Collaboration is central. Solutions Engineers partner with founders and engineers to demo, build, and refine the product. The role covers the entire technical customer lifecycle, from initial conversations through adoption and ongoing support. Each day brings new challenges, as the team transforms documents, PDFs, CapIQ feeds, Excel models, and SharePoint files into actionable insights for clients.

What you will do

  • Lead technical discovery sessions and product demonstrations, analyzing customer workflows and data sources to highlight Rowspace’s value for finance professionals.
  • Manage the proof of concept process, working with prospective client data to show business impact and serving as the main technical contact throughout.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives on deal strategies, understanding prospect priorities and positioning Rowspace against other solutions.
  • Support customer adoption and growth by maintaining strong relationships, assisting clients in rethinking workflows, and identifying opportunities to expand usage.
  • Advocate for customers by gathering feedback and working with engineering and product teams to influence feature development and the product roadmap.
  • Create reusable technical resources and playbooks to accelerate future sales cycles and build team knowledge.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years in a technical, client-facing role such as sales engineer, solutions architect, implementation consultant, or financial engineering/data science with client interaction.
  • Strong technical skills, familiarity with tools like Claude Code and Cursor, and experience working with complex data formats (PDFs, Excel models, CapIQ feeds).
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts, including RAG, embeddings, LLMs, and unstructured data.
