Role overview

The Solutions Architect II is a client-facing role focused on designing and implementing integrations for public safety partners. This position involves working directly with clients and project teams to deliver technical solutions, establish quality processes, and ensure strong customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include technical project scoping, system interface development, and system analysis, all performed with minimal supervision.

Location and travel

  • Location: Remote, based in Boston, Massachusetts
  • Travel: Up to 30% within the U. S.
  • Reports to: Manager, Solutions Architect

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a client-facing member of the Software Solutions Delivery Team.
  • Collaborate with networking and software professionals to deliver Axon technology for small and mid-market clients, including T1200 and Majors in public safety and other sectors.
  • Assess IT system architectures to scope projects, recommend improvements, address Information Security reviews, and participate in architecture review boards.
  • Manage technical projects both remotely and on-site at client locations.
  • Communicate project status and updates to both technical and non-technical client leaders.
  • Coordinate with account management to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Deliver high-quality service for Axon software deployments.
  • Identify integration opportunities between agency systems (cloud and/or on-premises) and Axon’s products.
  • Recommend deployment strategies for integrations that support agency goals.
  • Work closely with project teams, product, engineering, sales, and agency technical contacts to align with agency objectives and program outcomes.
