Your Role as a Senior Alliance Solutions Engineer

At Okta, we believe in the power of partnerships. Together with our technology, we aim to propel identity into the mainstream, reinforcing our status as a market leader. As a Partner Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in expanding Okta's business through channel partnerships, collaborating closely with Regional Alliance Managers, Sales Representatives, Marketing Teams, and Partner Enablement initiatives. You will establish yourself as a trusted technical expert, nurturing robust, long-lasting relationships with key partners and global system integrators across both global and Indian markets. Your insights will guide partners in effectively integrating Okta into their Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, enhancing their current offerings, and advocating for partner solutions within Okta’s field teams, ultimately leading to the development of Okta practices that yield exceptional customer outcomes.

*Please note that this role requires in-person onboarding and travel to our headquarters in San Francisco, CA during the first week of employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage technical relationships with assigned partners while collaborating with the designated Okta Partner Account Team.
  • Drive incremental revenue growth through increased Okta solution sales, leveraging the support of strategic partners and their GTM strategies.
  • Establish domain expertise and provide thought leadership on partners’ current focus areas, as well as identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Collect, monitor, and interpret partner feedback to influence Okta’s product roadmap.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for partners, including workshops, demonstrations of Okta features, and discussions on best practices and competitive advantages.
  • Respond to technical inquiries and provide support.
