As a pivotal member of our legal team, you will report directly to the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Privacy and AI Governance. Your main responsibility will be to architect and oversee a governance framework that prioritizes privacy in AI development and deployment. This role will require you to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Security, Legal, and Engineering, to ensure compliance with global AI regulations, privacy laws, and ethical standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and define AI Program Governance and Policy: Assess the impact of international AI regulations, spearhead policy formation, act as the Framework Owner, and set ethical standards and guidelines for AI development. Enhance assessments related to Privacy, Safety, and AI while proposing AI-enhanced tools to optimize efforts.
- Oversee AI Incident Response: Revise incident response protocols to include AI-specific triggers and reporting channels, ensuring alignment with Security's AI Acceptable Use Policy.
- Manage AI Risk: Uphold the AI Risk Management Policy and establish a robust risk taxonomy that differentiates between rights-based and technical risks.
- Ensure Accuracy and Cybersecurity: Provide guidance on adapting security and compliance strategies to meet AI-specific legal mandates while collaborating with technical teams to ensure models meet defined accuracy and compliance benchmarks.
- Implement Quality Management: Adjust the Quality Management System (QMS) protocols for AI design, testing, validation, and post-market monitoring, maintaining processes and reporting templates to ensure ongoing model performance and compliance.
- Specialist Consultation: Collaborate with co-counsel for specialized legal insights in areas such as Intellectual Property and Employment law.
