FanDuel is on the lookout for a Senior Manager of Consumer Insights to spearhead consumer insights strategy and execution within the Prediction Markets business unit. This pivotal role will shape a dynamic research agenda, oversee a team of one direct report, and act as a strategic insights partner for the Prediction Markets leadership. The Senior Manager will collaborate with marketing, commercial, product, and brand teams to identify and implement projects that yield actionable insights and enhance business performance.
Reporting directly to the Consumer Insights Director, this role will provide invaluable senior leadership for the Prediction Markets business unit during a period of organizational expansion, ensuring that consumer insights guide strategic decision-making.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined, employees may be asked to undertake other duties assigned by the Company, allowing for operational flexibility to meet evolving business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Every team member plays a vital role:
- Collaborate with the Consumer Insights Director to spearhead strategic research initiatives, foster team development, and ensure dedicated insights leadership for the Prediction Markets unit.
- Lead the creation of a comprehensive research learning agenda that addresses the primary strategic business priorities of Prediction Markets.
- Enhance brand and customer tracking initiatives specific to the Prediction Markets business unit.
- Serve as a strategic insights partner for the Prediction Markets leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Oversee the allocation of the Prediction Markets research budget and manage vendor relationships.
- Mentor direct reports, providing performance management and career development opportunities.
- Guide the team in executing complex qualitative and quantitative custom research projects from concept to analysis and reporting.
- Oversee the scope of ad hoc research projects, methodology selection, sample specifications, survey development, and quality assurance.
- Integrate data from custom research, syndicated sources, and internal analytics to develop actionable business recommendations and present findings in visually engaging formats.
- Promote best practices for utilizing customer databases and lead initiatives to maintain tools for data extraction, visualization, and reporting.
- Establish and nurture trusted relationships with cross-functional teams, presenting insights to senior leadership to drive strategic decisions.
