Qualifications

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of experience as a contributing engineer in the aerospace domain. Proficiency in aircraft performance prediction and analysis. Expertise in a wide range of aerodynamic analysis techniques, including hand calculations, vortex, lattice methods, panel methods, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Experience with wind tunnel and flight testing, including data acquisition, analysis, and project coordination. Strong programming skills in high-level languages such as MATLAB, Python, or equivalent.

ABOUT OUR TEAM

The Air Dominance and Strike Aerodynamics Engineering Team leads the forefront of aerodynamic design and analysis for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. We oversee the entire development lifecycle, from conceptual design to flight test planning and execution, ensuring the creation of high-performance, resilient, and scalable systems capable of thriving in complex and contested environments.

YOUR ROLE

  • Design and analyze aerodynamics for unmanned air vehicles/missiles at various stages: conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design.
  • Conduct aerodynamic analyses utilizing both low and high-order methods, including the development and enhancement of analysis tools as necessary.
  • Perform stability and control analyses.
  • Model and simulate aircraft performance.
  • Generate aerodynamic load data.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze wind tunnel tests.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze flight tests.
