Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct aerodynamic testing and analysis to support Subpart B Flight Characteristics and Performance certification.
- Develop advanced tools for analyzing and processing flight test data.
- Establish tolerances for flight test parameters and metrics for data quality.
- Perform comprehensive analysis of flight test data, comparing results with predictions across the flight envelope, and generate detailed test reports with findings and recommendations.
- Prepare substantiation documentation to demonstrate compliance with airworthiness criteria.
- Engage with the FAA and Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) regarding airworthiness and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with the Flight Test organization to plan and execute flight test events aimed at validating aerodynamic models and vehicle performance.
- Develop methods, processes, and documentation to support aircraft fleet management, including repair assessments and guidance, Configuration Deviation Lists, and Minimum Equipment Lists.
