Senior Account Executive

We are on the lookout for a commercially adept and proactive sales leader to spearhead revenue generation and customer growth within the freight railroad sector, intermodal operators, and logistics partners. This position transcends traditional transactional sales; you will engage at the nexus of freight economics, operations, and technology to position Parallel’s autonomous rail system as a catalyst for new revenue streams, enhanced lane performance, and a competitive edge against trucking.

As a trusted partner to our customers, you will blend sales expertise with a profound understanding of freight flows, lane economics, and value creation for clients. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in selling complex freight or logistics solutions, who grasp how shippers and brokers assess lanes, pricing, and service levels, and can leverage this knowledge to forge lasting rail partnerships.

You will closely collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and executive leadership to align commercial strategies, customer commitments, and scalable deployments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead comprehensive sales execution across a designated portfolio of freight rail, intermodal, and logistics clients, from initial prospecting to closing and expansion.
  • Facilitate customer discovery sessions focusing on freight lanes, shipper requirements, service reliability, and revenue opportunities unlocked through Parallel’s technology.
  • Position Parallel’s vehicle and software platform as a dual solution for revenue generation and network optimization, rather than merely a technological implementation.
  • Create commercial proposals, pilot frameworks, pricing strategies, and long-term agreements centered around customer ROI and lane performance.
