Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Environmental preferred) 3+ years of B2B sales experience in commercial or industrial markets (experience with industrial systems, manufacturing processes, high/low-pressure systems, or water treatment is essential) Strong foundation in mechanical engineering, chemistry, automation, and system design Must reside within 55 minutes of the Rochester, MN area Solid work history with a proven track record of success Willingness to travel to accounts within your territory, potentially requiring driving 3+ hours per day A US citizen or possess a green card

Join our dynamic team as a full-time, permanent Sales Engineer specializing in Water Systems & Solutions. We are a leading provider of innovative engineered solutions aimed at optimizing both industrial and commercial systems. In this vital position, you will serve as a territory manager for Southeast Minnesota, focusing on driving 80% of new business while nurturing 20% of existing customer relationships. With a consistent annual growth rate of 10-12%, we are expanding our team by adding 1-2 new roles each year. High-performing candidates may also have the opportunity to transition into regional or sales management roles as they become available. This role demands a solid foundation in chemistry, mechanical engineering, automation, system design, and fiduciary responsibility. The key responsibilities include:

  • Fostering and expanding customer relationships as a proactive and engaging professional
  • Delivering technical sales support with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction
  • Managing a sales territory that involves daily travel (up to 3+ hours of driving)
  • Contributing to a positive team culture and company growth
  • Exhibiting a proven track record in sales, customer retention, and teamwork
  • Utilizing mechanical and technical expertise, particularly in water treatment, water chemistry, or fluid process control
  • Overseeing mid-market and large accounts with a history of surpassing sales targets
