Role overview

The Residential Program Manager oversees the daily operations of a group home for adults with developmental disabilities in Middletown, Connecticut. This position ensures residents receive necessary clinical and medical services, and that all activities meet DDS, funding agency, and state requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop shift supervisors and direct care staff
  • Maintain and monitor staffing schedules
  • Mentor team members and provide both in-house and contracted training
  • Write clinical assessments and oversee Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
  • Support and instruct residents in all aspects of their Individual Plans (IPs)
  • Administer medication as needed
  • Assist residents with daily living skills, behavioral and habilitative plans, and address medical, psychiatric, and socio-emotional needs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Follow established budgetary guidelines
  • Take on-call responsibilities as required
  • Work with the People Team to plan and implement corrective actions when needed
