Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee project operations at the regional office or jobsite, ensuring objectives are met through effective planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Adhere to all WPI policies, procedures, and safety programs, actively participating in safety measures for assigned projects.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, including reviewing contracts, scope of work, and special provisions.
  • Solicit and compare quotes from at least three vendors for materials, subcontractors, and engineering services.
  • Assist in vendor selection and coordinate procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our building systems and their relevance to the construction process.
  • Develop and coordinate construction project schedules.
  • Support and regularly visit job sites, conducting meetings as required.
  • Price change requests and update budgets in a timely manner.
  • Prepare, review, and report weekly production metrics.
  • Collaborate with project Foreman and team to review weekly job cost reports.
  • Prepare billings and approve invoices for payment.
  • Monitor project progress and expenditures to ensure timely completion.
