Ideal candidates should possess a professional degree in architecture and have significant experience in commercial architecture projects. Strong proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) is essential, along with a solid understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design principles. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills are required, as well as the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Project Architect to join our vibrant Commercial team. Here, you will thrive in a culture that promotes collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. Our portfolio includes notable projects such as Edwards Lifesciences Campus Expansion, 801 N Brand, and 4000 MacArthur. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across our studios in California and Texas, helping to realize high-performance, community-focused designs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, develop, and manage project documentation and contract administration throughout all project phases.

  • Guide the technical execution of projects from concept through construction, collaborating closely with a diverse team of designers and engineers.

  • Work with the Project Designer and Project Manager to transform design concepts into reality with clarity and accuracy.

  • Supervise the creation of design documentation, including schematic design, design development, and construction documents.

  • Perform quality control checks and research to ensure the selection of suitable products, materials, and construction techniques.

  • Lead the construction administration process, ensuring effective implementation and resolution of design intent on-site.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration.
