Role overview

As an Optical Associate at the Notting Hill store, the role centers on delivering memorable in-store experiences. This position blends technical skills with a warm, approachable manner. Optical Associates guide customers through frame and lens choices, share the Cubitts story, and help maintain smooth store operations within a supportive team.

Main responsibilities

  • Provide attentive service at every stage of the customer journey, following Cubitts’ standards.
  • Communicate the brand’s story, mission, and values to enrich customer interactions.
  • Assist with frame and lens selection, offering tailored product advice.
  • Dispense prescription and non-prescription lenses with accuracy.
  • Adjust and perform basic repairs on frames for optimal fit.
  • Introduce and explain the Made to Measure service, highlighting its craftsmanship and benefits.
  • Keep the store clean and organized, with appealing displays and well-managed stock.
  • Follow GDPR and patient confidentiality guidelines to ensure professionalism and trust.
  • Collaborate with teammates and other departments to support a positive environment.
