The Network Infrastructure Tech III position at Netsync Network Solutions is a pivotal leadership role dedicated to the installation of network hardware infrastructure in both educational and professional settings. This hands-on role emphasizes the supervision and support of field technicians to ensure the successful delivery of all project objectives.
The ideal candidate will act as the on-site technical lead, managing all facets of network installation projects. Responsibilities include upholding compliance with established standards and serving as the primary contact for service-related inquiries. This position offers mentorship opportunities with Supervisor III and Area Supervisors, aimed at seasoned professionals aspiring to elevate their leadership skills.
- Oversee and guide ENG-TECH I/II technicians in the field, ensuring strict adherence to Netsync quality standards, safety protocols, and best practices in installation.
- Serve as the on-site lead for high-stakes and intricate network installation projects, encompassing structured cabling, switch/AP/phone/UPS deployments.
- Act as the main point of contact (POC) for a multi-year project supporting a significant hospital district in Louisiana.
- Conduct network assessments and compile detailed documentation of client MDF/IDF environments.
- Assist project coordinators in managing timelines, materials, and project deliverables effectively.
- Monitor team performance, escalate issues as necessary, and ensure accurate documentation by technicians using Microsoft Word, Excel, and internal tools.
- Engage in regular quality control checks and audits of technician work to uphold exceptional service standards.
- Establish guidelines for device implementation and installation across all facilities.
- Ensure proper tool usage, safety equipment protocols, and compliance with ladder and job site safety regulations.
- Support onboarding, training, and development of new team members in collaboration with Supervisor I and Area Supervisors.
- Encourage a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
