RESPONSIBILITIES:Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and document results for fiber, network, audio, video, and RF cabling. Install, test, and troubleshoot audio, video, and RF equipment. Set up cable pathway systems, including cable trays, racks, J-hooks, or D-rings. Terminate, test, label, and document horizontal and backbone cables. Construct telecommunication and equipment rooms. Install connectors, terminals, and lugs as required. Execute continuity checks and resolve wiring errors using measurement tools. Diagnose and rectify instrumentation or system malfunctions, documenting findings. Handle complex technical tasks involving communications systems and data processing. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues derived from test data. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and engineering drawings. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years of experience in installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing fiber optics, copper cabling (RF, Ethernet), network installations, and audio/video systems. PREFERRED SKILLS:Experience with advanced telecommunications infrastructure. Proficient in using troubleshooting tools and techniques.

IT NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICIAN

As an IT Network Infrastructure Technician at SpaceX, you will play a critical role in supporting various production, launch, and landing operations within a high-paced environment. Our team is responsible for the installation and maintenance of essential cable infrastructure that underpins all telecommunications for our production facilities and launch systems. This includes fiber and copper data cabling, operational voice systems (wired and wireless), video systems, RF communications for vehicle and payload interfaces, ground stations, telemetry, optical tracking systems, marine communications, and readiness testing systems vital for Falcon, Dragon, Starship, and other missions.
