At OpenAI, we are dedicated to establishing a premier third-party risk management (TPRM) program, crucial for our expansion in hardware, infrastructure, and essential partner ecosystems. We are currently seeking an experienced Manager of Third Party Risk Management in Singapore to spearhead TPRM initiatives throughout the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular emphasis on electronics and device manufacturing supply chains, as well as supplier compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the comprehensive execution of TPRM across APAC, guaranteeing uniform and scalable risk assessments, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring of third-party vendors.
Facilitate audits, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and uphold internal policy standards throughout third-party engagements.
Advance supplier compliance initiatives that align with industry-leading standards (e.g., Responsible Business Alliance / RBA expectations), focusing on labor practices, ethical considerations, and management systems.
Collaborate extensively with Procurement, Legal/Compliance, Security, Privacy, and business teams to integrate risk controls into supplier onboarding, contracts, and continuous monitoring.
Develop and maintain supplier risk frameworks specifically designed for electronics and device manufacturing sectors.
Execute thorough supplier due diligence, encompassing operational, regulatory, and compliance risk evaluations.
Establish and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), along with reporting and governance structures for regional leadership.
Detect and mitigate risks associated with critical suppliers, including geopolitical, operational, and compliance challenges.
Continuously enhance TPRM processes, tools, and controls to promote scalability and operational efficiency.
Assist in incident response for supplier-related challenges (e.g., compliance breaches, operational interruptions), ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.
