Role Overview

Your Mission: Develop groundbreaking, data-driven products that enhance patient engagement and retention, ultimately improving the health and well-being of mothers and infants.

We are seeking a skilled Staff Data Scientist to lead our data strategy within the Growth and Patient Experience team. This role focuses on two main objectives: optimizing our patient enrollment strategies and creating innovative products that maintain patient engagement throughout their care journey. In this capacity, you will:

  • Master patient behaviors, engagement trends, and retention factors, guiding the team’s data science roadmap and influencing Pomelo’s patient experience strategy.
  • Collaborate extensively with the Marketing team to design and refine a multi-channel enrollment strategy, including building attribution models, analyzing conversion rates, and optimizing resource allocation for patient enrollment.
  • Establish and refine key performance metrics that reflect the health of the business, such as enrollment and retention rates, and share insights with Pomelo’s executive leadership.
  • Conduct exploratory analyses to inform the design of features focused on enrollment and engagement, including categorization of conversation topics and segmentation of patient journeys.
  • Create robust data pipelines and analytics frameworks that integrate external data with marketing and product usage data, providing a comprehensive view of the patient experience.
  • Lead the A/B testing efforts across marketing and product initiatives to accurately evaluate their impact.
  • Work closely with Product, Clinical, and Engineering teams to convert patient insights into actionable product enhancements and new feature developments.
