Join our dynamic team at prime-system as an experienced L2 Endpoint Systems Engineer. This pivotal role focuses on patching operations and endpoint management, ensuring that our endpoint devices remain secure, compliant, and operationally robust throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience, thrive in a ticket-driven environment, and be familiar with operating within an MSP or enterprise setting. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our patching initiatives and addressing the deployment backlog in Liongard.

Key Responsibilities:

Endpoint Patching & Maintenance

  • Execute patching and updates for client systems utilizing Kaseya VSA.
  • Oversee and distribute operating system and application patches via Microsoft Intune.
  • Support patching efforts using Datto RMM, including monitoring, troubleshooting failures, and ensuring successful deployments.
  • Create and maintain patch compliance reports, ensuring systems are aligned with security and compliance protocols.

Endpoint Management & Automation

  • Deploy, update, and manage third-party applications across various endpoint devices.
  • Utilize PowerShell scripting for automating endpoint tasks, enhancing efficiency, and resolving recurring challenges.
  • Ensure optimal endpoint performance, stability, and security across diverse environments.

Ticketing & Operational Support

  • Address and resolve incidents, service requests, and patch-related concerns through the ConnectWise ticketing system.
  • Independently manage L2-level tasks while escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Adhere to established SLAs and operational processes within a high-volume, ticket-driven atmosphere.

Asset Management & Documentation (Liongard Focus)

  • Ensure accurate endpoint documentation and asset visibility via Liongard.
  • Assist in remediating an existing backlog of Liongard deployments by:
    • Reviewing and rectifying failed or incomplete inspections
    • Re-establishing connections and configurations
    • Cleaning and validating asset data
  • Guarantee that endpoint configurations and asset records remain up-to-date and reliable.
