Main Engineering Challenges
- Build efficient, user-friendly web products serving thousands of users, including major publishers, advertisers, and agencies.
- Work with a broad tech stack and system architecture to improve performance, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency, with a strong focus on Scala and TypeScript.
- Support a high-traffic platform handling 2.2 billion users monthly and 100 billion events daily, with strict low latency and high availability targets (2 million requests per second, responses under 150 milliseconds).
- Manage large datasets with millisecond access times to power a near real-time auction resolution algorithm (18 million predictions per second).
- Collaborate closely with Product teams and adapt Cloud infrastructure to deliver new features and product improvements.
