Casca is developing Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) to reshape the banking industry. The company’s mission centers on replacing outdated financial systems with advanced AI, aiming to automate much of the manual work found in financial operations.

Role overview

The Chief of Staff position, based in San Francisco, partners directly with the CEO during a period of rapid growth. This role helps keep teams aligned, drives operational improvements, and ensures key initiatives progress as Casca expands its presence in lending and financial technology.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage the CEO’s agenda and oversee special projects, ensuring critical initiatives remain on track and support business goals.
  • Collaborate with the CEO on both internal and external meetings to advance company priorities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication, supporting collaboration and the achievement of shared objectives.
  • Lead internal projects to improve operations, from adopting new systems to streamlining workflows across departments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in management consulting at a top firm (such as McKinsey, Bain, or BCG) or in strategic roles within high-growth tech companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to tackle complex operational challenges, develop scalable processes, and deliver results in startup environments.
  • Experience managing internal operations, coordinating teams, or serving as chief of staff in fast-growing organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in both quantitative and qualitative problem-solving.
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable working with everyone from individual contributors to executive leaders.

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA from a leading business school.
  • Experience supporting internal operations during rapid team growth (from 30+ to 200+ employees).
  • Background in fintech, banking, or lending.
  • Technical knowledge and familiarity with AI or machine learning applications.
