Qualifications: 1-4 years of relevant experience in construction project management, project engineering, or a similar capacity. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively. Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and regulatory standards. Proficient in project management software (MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with construction software such as AutoCAD and BlueBeam is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings is desired. Experience in concrete foundation construction projects is an advantage. Education/Certifications: A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is advantageous. OSHA certification is also preferred.

Job Summary:

Join our vibrant team at Essel Environmental as a Construction Assistant Project Manager on an exciting 6+ month contract. We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused individual who will assist in managing various facets of construction projects. Exceptional candidates may have the opportunity for direct hire, contingent upon relocation to the New England area.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between field operations and the corporate office, ensuring seamless communication and reporting on daily activities.
  • Bridge communications between the office and field teams regarding any changes in plans or schedules.
  • Order essential materials including concrete, pumps, rebar, shoring, and post-tension materials.
  • Maintain clear communication channels among the field crew, general contractor, and main office.
  • Foster a collaborative atmosphere among all personnel and stakeholders at the job site.
  • Document any deviations in project scope, including change orders.
  • Participate in various job site meetings as required.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Keep meticulous records of project progress, changes, and issues.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates on project status.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues or discrepancies.
