Role Overview: IT Service Engineer
This IT Service Engineer position is based in Bangalore, India, as part of Celonis’s international IT Service Team. The role focuses on supporting IT operations for employees worldwide. Candidates should have practical experience with both macOS and Windows environments and be comfortable working in a global, shift-based support model.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for IT support requests from employees, resolving issues or escalating when needed.
- Provide hands-on support for macOS and Windows systems, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
- Work with the global IT Service Team to address technical issues via phone, email, or remote support tools.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, network printers, and video conferencing systems (Google Meet, MS Teams).
- Support mobile devices, including smartphones, using mobile device management tools such as Intune and Kandji.
- Communicate clearly with users to understand, document, and resolve IT issues.
- Carry out basic repairs and replacements for computing equipment.
- Create and update documentation and user guides to improve IT service processes.
- Participate in a shift-based support schedule to ensure global coverage.
