Implementation Engineer Role

As an Implementation Engineer, you will play a critical role in converting raw utility and geospatial data into precise digital twin models of electricity networks. Utilizing GIS, LiDAR, and asset datasets, you will configure models with Neara’s schema language to ensure high engineering standards. Based in London, you will be part of the Customer Success Team, responsible for deploying the Neara platform to utility clients throughout Europe. In this collaborative position, you will assist in developing and presenting complex customer use cases.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the comprehensive deployment of the Neara platform for utility customers across Europe.

  • Ingest and manipulate large datasets (LiDAR, GIS, and asset databases) using Neara’s schema language and configuration framework.

  • Serve as a technical liaison for customers throughout their deployment, collaborating with a Customer Success Manager to manage relationships with utility engineers and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication at all stages.

  • Conduct thorough QA/QC to verify that the digital twin accurately represents real-world physics and meets customer specifications.

  • Develop custom reports and dashboards within the platform to provide actionable insights for utility engineers.
