Solid technical knowledge of HVAC systems and air-side HVAC product applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation). Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate within a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with PC usage.

Role: HVAC Outside Sales Engineer

We are seeking an enthusiastic HVAC Outside Sales Engineer to become a part of our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our HVAC products to a dedicated network of HVAC contractors. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a knowledgeable and close-knit team in a fast-paced and ever-evolving industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers and accounts.
  • Provide timely equipment selections, pricing, and scheduling information.
  • Promote the features and benefits of ADC’s products.
  • Prepare equipment takeoffs and bid proposals tailored to project specifications.
  • Submit detailed documentation for customer approval.
  • Develop technical solutions and address customer issues throughout the sales process.
  • Create action plans to target new accounts and expand sales within existing ones.
  • Collaborate with manufacturer engineers and customer service to ensure top-notch support.
  • Conduct sales tracking, including opportunities, forecasts, and results.
  • Maintain accurate records of project details, orders, costs, and schedules.
  • Travel regularly to customer sites, attend training seminars, and participate in sales meetings.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and integrity in all activities.
