However, our creative endeavors extend beyond gaming; we have our own film studio, produce board games, publish books, and through our acclaimed 2000AD brand, we release iconic comics and graphic novels such as Judge Dredd.
We are seeking a motivated Graduate VFX Artist eager to kickstart their career in game development. You will join a passionate and expanding VFX team to contribute to an exciting large-scale project, guided by an experienced group renowned for crafting outstanding shooters.
The VFX team is responsible for all visual effects in Rebellion's games, including particle effects, screen post effects, material effects, mesh destruction effects, and UI effects, all developed using our proprietary engine, Asura.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of real-time visual effects by interpreting clear briefs and drawing inspiration from references.
- Prepare source assets, textures, flipbooks, and meshes for use in particle systems.
- Animate effects in-engine, testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance during gameplay.
- Enhance your understanding of studio pipelines, performance budgets, and profiling fundamentals.
- Participate in regular reviews, accept feedback for personal development, and maintain organized project files.
