ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Funding Operations Associate to assist real estate agents in securing their commission advances quickly and accurately. In this role, you will liaise with agents, escrow, title, and brokerages to ensure that files transition smoothly from approval to funding and repayment.

You will be the primary contact once an application is approved, guiding the process towards funding, maintaining current timelines, and resolving any slow responses, delays, documentation issues, or last-minute changes.

This is a dynamic, communication-intensive role requiring proactive follow-up and exceptional organizational skills.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow up with escrow, title, and brokerages to gather necessary confirmations and update timelines
• Ensure approved transactions are moved towards same-day or next-day funding
• Verify commission amounts, closing dates, and documentation accuracy
• Monitor and communicate any delays, cancellations, or updated closing dates
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that may hinder funding or repayment
• Coordinate next steps with agents when deals are delayed or fall through
• Assist in repayment follow-up post-closing
• Maintain precise documentation and compliance throughout each transaction
• Update Salesforce as transactions progress
• Collaborate with operations, accounting, and collections teams as needed
• Foster strong relationships with agents to enhance efficiency and encourage repeat business
