Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist residents during daily routines and activities.
- Welcome new patients, providing orientation on treatment expectations, rights, and responsibilities.
- Monitor resident environments, clarify program guidelines, and ensure adherence to standards.
- Conduct searches and drug testing as outlined by program protocols.
- Transport patients to group sessions, meals, breaks, and off-site appointments as needed.
- Stay updated on patient assignments and coordinate with counselors and case managers.
- Support patients during discharge processes.
- Lead educational or skill-building groups when assigned.
- Complete documentation to comply with Joint Commission, COMAR, Luminis Health, and Pathways requirements.
- Work with Pathways staff to address urgent issues within the treatment setting.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and in-service training sessions.
- Collaborate with patients and care teams to provide individualized support based on each person’s needs and strengths.
- Support different levels of care at Pathways, with flexibility to rotate between treatment areas as needed.
