The Full-Time Treatment Assistant at Luminis Health in Annapolis, MD plays a key part in supporting residents and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment. This position helps guide residents through daily routines, group meetings, and treatment activities. What You Will Do
- Supervise and support residents during daily activities.
- Ensure new patients receive welcome materials and orientation about treatment expectations, rights, and responsibilities.
- Monitor resident environments and activities, clarifying program guidelines as needed.
- Perform searches and drug testing according to program standards.
- Transport patients to groups, meals, breaks, and off-site appointments as required.
- Stay informed about patient assignments and coordinate with counselors and case managers.
- Assist patients through discharge processes.
- Facilitate educational or skill-building groups when assigned.
- Complete required documentation to meet Joint Commission, COMAR, Luminis Health, and Pathways standards.
- Work with Pathways staff to address urgent patient issues within the treatment setting.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and in-service training.
- Collaborate with patients and teams to deliver care tailored to each individual’s needs, strengths, and preferences.
- Support various levels of care at Pathways, with the possibility of rotating to different treatment areas as needed.
