The Role
We are searching for a dynamic and client-focused Founding Business Lead to take charge of delivering commercial due diligence for premier private equity funds. In this pivotal role, you will act as the human-in-the-loop at the core of our AI-driven research process, translating client requirements into clear directives for our AI agents, overseeing output quality, and ensuring every engagement exceeds expectations with exceptional service.
This highly visible, client-centric position involves direct collaboration with partners and deal teams at top-tier private equity funds, granting you substantial ownership over your work and influence in shaping our product development without the bureaucratic hurdles typical of larger firms.
What You'll Do
- Lead project delivery for multiple concurrent CDD engagements, from initiation to final report.
- Manage day-to-day client relationships with professionalism and care.
- Coordinate expert sourcing through various expert networks.
- Work in close collaboration with our AI systems to oversee interviews and analyses, ensuring alignment with client briefs.
- Partner with our engineering team to translate client and operational insights into product enhancements.
- Develop and refine internal processes and templates to boost delivery efficiency and quality.
- Engage with the founding team to provide product feedback.
What We're Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in a top consulting firm (MBB), private equity, or investment banking.
- Proven experience in commercial due diligence, with a clear understanding of the methodology and client expectations that distinguish great CDD from good.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, deadline-driven projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive problem-solver with a keen attention to detail.
