As part of our vibrant team, the Facilities Assistant will report directly to the Facilities Operational Manager and contribute to the seamless operation of ICMP’s facilities, ensuring an optimal working and learning environment. Key Responsibilities:Support the Facilities Operational Manager in daily operationsPerform repairs and maintenance on musical equipmentAssist staff and students with technical issuesPrepare equipment for events and performancesSet up rooms for classes, examinations, and meetingsParticipate in compliance-related tasks including scheduled preventative maintenance checksAssist in general building maintenance and DIY tasksProvide excellent customer service at the facilities helpdeskEngage in general administrative dutiesThis role is ideal for those with a background in maintaining and repairing contemporary musical instruments and equipment. We also encourage applications from music school graduates who possess a passion for the practical and technical dimensions of music performance and technology. The ideal candidate will embody a proactive attitude, possess outstanding interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Willingness to engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training and occasionally support weekend events is essential.
