This fully remote Business Development Representative position is based in the US Central region. The role includes hands-on training in outbound sales, relationship management, and the use of advanced technical tools. It’s designed for those interested in building a career in sales or marketing, especially candidates with strong research and writing abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities using MinIO’s intelligence systems.
- Develop strategies to convert open-source users into commercial customers.
- Create initiatives to attract new enterprise clients.
- Write personalized emails and outreach sequences to communicate the benefits of a commercial relationship, aiming to secure meetings and future business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market changes.
- Share feedback with sales and marketing teams to improve lead generation efforts.
- Analyze performance data and adjust tactics to achieve better results.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Use tools such as SFDC, Hubspot, and Outreach to track interactions, progress, and conversion rates.
