About the Role:

Gusto is on the lookout for a visionary builder to step into the role of Head of Gustie Growth as we innovate how growth is approached in an AI-integrated organization. This position centers on crafting the systems that influence daily growth, moving beyond mere courses and programs to the very mechanics of work itself. Processes such as onboarding, feedback, performance evaluations, promotions, and leadership expectations should inherently facilitate continuous improvement without requiring additional effort. You will lead the charge in developing new frameworks while dismantling outdated practices. AI will play a crucial role in this transformation, serving as a practical tool for reflection, coaching, and skill enhancement. The objective is straightforward yet challenging: to make growth evident, ongoing, and unavoidable. This position is ideal for someone eager to build something lasting, test its effectiveness in real-world scenarios, and continuously refine it. Success here could inspire replication elsewhere; failure will lead to rapid learning and adaptation.

About the Team:

The Talent Development team operates within the Gustie Engagement Team, united in our mission to empower Gusties to craft the most rewarding chapters of their careers. We achieve this by shaping conditions that promote clarity, connection, and commitment throughout the employee journey—not through programs, but through the very nature of work.

Responsibilities:

(Expectations may evolve as part of the role.)

  • Oversee the Gustie growth system at Gusto, from onboarding to executive leadership, with AI as an integral component.
  • Revamp key moments such as feedback, performance assessments, and promotion decisions to ensure AI actively supports real-time reflection, learning, and improvement.
  • Collaborate with AI as a design partner...
