Role overview

The Customer Success Lead will nurture relationships with enterprise clients as basis-ai expands across accounting practices. This foundational role combines leadership and direct account management. The position is based in the New York office and involves building a high-performing Customer Success team while personally overseeing a portfolio of key accounts.

What you will do

  • Establish and lead the Customer Success function at basis-ai
  • Manage a portfolio of enterprise accounts, focusing on adoption, expansion, and renewals
  • Recruit, train, and oversee Customer Success Managers
  • Define operational processes such as account segmentation and customer health metrics
  • Collaborate with the Deployed Intelligence team to ensure smooth transitions for ongoing customer support
  • Work with Account Executives to identify growth opportunities and drive annual recurring revenue (ARR)

Requirements

This role calls for experience in customer success, account management, or a related field, along with a track record of building and leading teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally are essential as basis-ai grows its presence in the accounting sector.
