Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, auditing, or tax preparation. At least 2 years of client-facing or customer service experience, preferably with U. S.-based clients. Exceptional spoken and written English proficiency is essential for clear and professional communication. A strong customer service orientation with the ability to convey financial concepts clearly and compassionately. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software is required. Demonstrated attention to detail, effective problem-solving capabilities, and a proactive attitude. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Bookkeeping & Account Management

  • Efficiently categorize transactions, perform account reconciliations, and uphold meticulous ledgers.

  • Meticulously identify and rectify discrepancies with a keen eye for detail.

  • Conduct comprehensive monthly financial reviews to guarantee that all client records are accurate and current.

Client Support & Communication

  • Act as the primary liaison for small business owners, providing essential guidance and support.

  • Deliver empathetic, professional, and articulate communication through chat, email, and phone.

  • Establish strong client relationships by translating financial information into easily understandable terms.

Proactive Problem Solving & Ownership

  • Demonstrate initiative by proactively identifying and addressing client concerns.

  • Own the complete client experience, ensuring satisfaction and fostering trust.

  • Collaborate with internal teams using tools such as Bench App, Salesforce, and Slack to enhance service delivery.
