Role overview
The Business Strategy Analyst works alongside senior leadership to drive strategic projects and support data-driven decision making. This position involves analyzing markets, collaborating across multiple departments, and providing insights to inform business direction. A strong analytical background is essential, with 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Research markets and competitors to spot growth opportunities and track industry trends.
- Assist in developing and executing strategic plans and business initiatives.
- Create financial models, forecasts, and business cases to assess new opportunities.
- Analyze large datasets, extract actionable insights, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Work with teams in product, operations, finance, and marketing.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards for leadership review.
- Monitor performance metrics and track progress on key initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier institution.
- 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, management consulting, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools (SQL required; Python and SOQL are a plus).
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Comfort working in settings where priorities may shift quickly.
