Role overview

The Business Development Representative (BDR) joins the Provider Growth Team to bring new providers and provider groups onto the Tandem platform. This role balances inbound and outbound outreach: responding quickly to new inquiries while also building outbound strategies for key accounts. BDRs work closely with teams across the funnel, growth, and customer experience to turn initial contacts into qualified meetings and help shape messaging and go-to-market plans. The position offers autonomy and expects a high level of ownership. Tandem seeks BDRs who think like operators, are competitive, coachable, low-ego, and eager to help build from the ground up.

What you will do

  • Qualify inbound leads, schedule meetings, and keep the pipeline active.
  • Collaborate with RevOps to create and manage target account lists focused on ideal provider networks.
  • Run high-volume, multi-channel outbound campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn) to reach decision-makers.
  • Analyze and adjust outreach strategies to improve engagement and results.
