Key Responsibilities Conduct ultrasound studies and provide training at your home and regional hospitals. Foster strong relationships with teleconsultation radiologists and utilize their feedback effectively. Align all training materials and activities with VEG's culture, mission, and the latest sonographic techniques. Monitor and track the ultrasound skills of the medical staff using the VEG Ultrasound Certificate checklist. Engage in self-assessment and program evaluation to continually improve VEG's ultrasound training programs. Regularly meet with the medical director to discuss progress and insights.

Your Role as a Veterinary Sonographer

As a Veterinary Sonographer at VEG, you will play a crucial role in providing ultrasound support for our hospitals and training facilities. Collaborating closely with our emergency veterinarians, you will perform same-day ultrasound scans for pets in need. Your adaptability and willingness to learn new techniques will be essential as you navigate a variety of patient scenarios. Additionally, you will lead educational initiatives and coordinate ultrasound training for your home and regional hospitals, inspiring your fellow VEGgies to enhance their skills.
